The Darke County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities (MR/DD) is responsible for managing the programs that serve Darke County, Ohio, citizens who have mental retardation or developmental disabilities.  Services provided by the Darke County Board of MR/DD include:
  • Early Intervention Programs (for children birth through two years old)
  • Special Needs Preschool Programs (for children ages 3-5)
  • Adult Services (for persons ages 16 and over)
  • Community Services (residential services, waiver services, service and support administration, Family Support Services)
  • Support Services (occupational and physical therapy, speech therapy, transportation services, nursing services)
