Early Intervention Program
Early Intervention services are provided to babies and toddlers from birth through two years of age who have developmental
delays. Early Intervention Specialist, Leslie Zimmers and Assistant Jodi Mikesell oversee playgroups and conduct home
visits to assist families.

Preschool Program
Children love to play at Anthony Wayne Early Childhood Center
Special needs preschool programs are offered at Anthony Wayne Ealry Childhood Center for children from three through
five years of age who have developmental disabilities.
There are currently 7 teachers and 7 teacher assistants serving close to 200 children per week. Children attend
two days per week with typically-developing peers.
If needed, children may also receive occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, nursing services and bus
transportation services.
